The London Olympics are just around the corner now, with the opening ceremony about to start and some soccer games already beginning. Underneath all the hype and excitement of the games, the Olympics has also been subject to its fair share of negative press.
The ticketing ballot was subject to a fair amount of criticism and, more recently, the G4S security scandal and the threat of strike action at Heathrow on the eve of the opening ceremony (narrowly averted yesterday) have marred good spirits. Even just today there were communication errors with the North Korean women’s team walking off after a video introducing their players showed the South Korean flag.
